Traditional flags are made from polyester — a plastic material that releases microplastics every time it moves in the wind. Over time, these particles pollute soil, water and ecosystems.
Better Flags set out to change this by becoming the world’s first flag brand with a fully sustainable product range. The CiCLO® flags are made with CiCLO® technology built into the fibre, so the polyester can biodegrade: CiCLO® polyester biodegraded 90 to 94% in independent ASTM lab tests, after 952 to 1,362 days.
The result is a flag that performs like conventional polyester in durability and colour quality, but with a significantly lower environmental impact. No compromises. No greenwashing. Just better flags by design.
